Chicago Manual of Style Citation - Humanities Format
All of the information contained on
this page is adjusted by me, albeit with help from Diana Hacker's The
Bedford Handbook. So, this information will stand for my class, and should
be good in general, but it is not necessarily the gospel truth.
Part of citing works is attaching a
list of the sources of your data to every important piece of work that you do.
This list of Works Cited allows your reader to dig up the sources of your data
and look for themselves.
On easy way to cite works is to use
the Slate Citation Machine.
Just type in your information and it will create a proper citation for you. Be
sure to chose the "Chicago Citation"
version.
